Who Takes Care of the People Who Lead People?

Event Overview

Year-end and year-start periods represent the most sensitive times for organizational teams. KPIs are finalized, old pressures haven’t subsided, and new expectations begin to take shape.

Many people depart from organizations not due to compensation, but because they feel exhausted, unseen, or unclear about their role in upcoming phases. Even leaders themselves experience pressure from above, team expectations, and emotional responsibility—yet rarely have space to slow down and genuinely connect.

This event serves as an intentional pause before Tết: not to discuss KPIs or strategy, but to help leaders examine their team members—and themselves—before entering a new year.

Event Highlights

  • Focus on genuine conversations that determine whether people stay or leave, rather than general leadership theory
  • Combine EQ, behavioral science, and real situations leaders and managers currently face
  • Workshops and panels help participants identify early disengagement and prevent losing people “when it’s too late”
  • Networking designed for authentic connection: warm, kind, and meaningful rather than awkward social exchanges
  • Experience Tết atmosphere and The New Leaders’ EQ & Leadership gift set as tools for dialogue with teams

Main Event Content

PART 1 – IDENTIFY & DIALOGUE AT THE RIGHT TIME

Workshop: “What to do before it’s too late?” Addresses the question every team leader faces: how to recognize who needs conversation and how to approach them so they truly open up? This workshop helps participants identify early signals and select appropriate approaches.

Panel Discussion: “When dialogue determines whether people stay or leave” Brings theory into leadership and management context. Goes beyond retention to address how leaders enter a new year with full energy, rather than simply “trying harder.”

PART 2 – CONNECT TO BUILD MOMENTUM

Following difficult conversations comes the need for recognition, connection, and meaning. The networking experience is designed as a gentle gathering embodying the Tết spirit, where people return to their teams and organizations because they choose to, not from obligation. Participants also have natural access to The New Leaders’ EQ and leadership products.
